Family and Newborn Portrait Commissions

Our portrait commissions are all about creating beautiful family images that capture this wonderful stage in the life of your family.

When you commission a portrait, we will recommend the perfect location for your shoot. This may be one of our often–used beautiful outdoor locations such as a sheltered, green leafy park for a young family, a stunning mountain backdrop for older families and couples, or the warmth and comfort of your own home for your newborn or maternity photos. A carefully chosen location helps you relax and enjoy the experience which in turn creates the most beautiful, unique and memorable images.

The best time of the day for photography is in the ‘golden hour’ before sunset, and this is the time we prefer to schedule our outdoor photo shoots.

Shortly after your portrait session we arrange to meet again for a presentation of your images. Here you will be guided through the process of selecting your favourite images from among the photographs.

Ways you can enjoy your photos

Most of our clients, having enjoyed the process and loved the results, choose to create their own custom folio. These can include stunning wall enlargements or beautiful photo books and DVD slideshows that can be shared with friends and family.

All products are professionally produced on archive-quality paper.

Our portrait commission is only $80, and includes consultation, the photo session of 60 – 90 minutes and presentation of the images.

There is no minimum spend or pressure sales, you are free to create your folio with as many or as few images as you desire. In our experience most of our clients invest $1200 – $1400 on their family portrait folio.

Your enlargements can be any of the standard print sizes from our range starting at only $90 for a 5”x7.5” book shelf enlargement up to our stunning Grand wall print for $240 and 24”x36”.

Custom Framing available with traditional matt and glass or acrylic mounted for that ultra-modern look. We can help you choose the perfect frame for your images and your decor.

Our professional quality photo books are sure to become a treasured family heirloom taking pride of place on your coffee table or book shelf. They include a minimum of twenty images from your shoot, glossy pages, hard cover and a personalised embossed presentation box.

DVD slideshows are a nice way to enjoy all the images from your shoot on your big screen television or home computer.

Corporate Commissions

Corporate clients enjoy an experience tailored precisely to their budget and timeframe.

Good corporate images can help brand your business and sell your products or services, so commissioning a professional photographer is well worth the investment.

Corporate commissions are charged at an hourly rate, half day or full day with a minimum of two hours dedicated to achieving the best result for your business. This may involve staff shots at your office or in-situ shots of your product or services.

All commissions include professional post-production and delivery of your images in both high and low resolution versions for use in print production or online.

Our contract includes a copyright agreement for use of the images, agreed during consultation.

Corporate commissions from $160/hour (minimum two hours) includes consultation and detailed job briefing.
